Support for older versions of CRM 2016

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, I am a bit confused regarding the CRM 2016 support lifecycle. I know that Microsoft provides support for 24 months after a new Service Pack has been released, but what about the Update packages such as CRM 2016 Update 2.1? Say, if a customer cannot deploy Update 2.1 for whatever reason and must stay on Update 2.0 - is that still supported at all, and how long? Or is Update 2.1 the only supported version already now?

    You can check this page:

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../CRMSupport

There is no general rule, it depends on your support contract with Microsoft, especially for on-prem systems.

You could be enrolled with Premier Services or Software Assurance (SA).
