Management accounting university project about implementation

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Community

I am currently studying at Aalborg University, Denmark and I'm writing a project about the impacts of implementation of ERP-systems.

I stumbled upon a question, that i couldn't quite get answered. There is a Point of Sales system named OnlinePOS, which says it is compatible with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. My question is, how much would it cost to configure Microsoft Dynamics NAV to suit one restaurant with 20-30 employees?

We would only require 1-2 people to access the numbers and the configuration doesn't need to be insanely in-depth, just basics like G/L, stock, Supply Chain Management, profitability analysis.

How much would that estimately cost?

Thanks in advance,

Nicholas

In another comment, you were right to indicate that you should proceed from your plans. If the matter is solely in the report for the university, then do not go deep so much, contact au.edubirdie.com/research-paper and save yourself time and money. But if in the future you plan to continue cooperation with this company, then write the research paper and find out the prices for each country has its nuances.

ERP provides a vast solution to many issues faced by companies. However, it is very important to identify the real objective of implementing ERP. The question is less about “should we implement” and but more about “what should ERP be implemented for”. The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) have to be analyzed in order to understand the necessity of software intervention. Also to order the capstone project writing you need to contact to edusson.com/buy-capstone-project This is a very fast and convenient educational online service. Key objectives are necessary; not only with respect to the present but also because future projections are included in the requisition list, which allows a business to factor in the scalability and accommodating changes in the future of the business/industry. So again, it is essential to identify the problem or the exact necessity motivating the ERP.

Hello Nicholas, You are have pointed out an important question. The ERP system is a good topic for a start and it requires implementing new ideas on management. There are many management institutes that are expensive but at Affordable essays get an advance expert writers to help and guide you with all your queries.

That actually depends on your setup. The cost might very quite a lot depending on the required processes to be covered, as well as integration with POS system (compatible might not necessarily mean ready integration out-of-the-box). Normal implementation starts with a fit-gap analysis, that will allow you to list your processes and define to which extent NAV standard is covering them.

Then, from my experience I have learned that Denmark is quite expensive country :-), and the implementation price may again vary from country to country.

As Dilanka wrote, you need to contact on of the local partners to ask them this question. They can give you some estimation.

    Hi Nkamp92,

First, since this is a college project and you don't require to go in deep I thoroughly don't recommend you to go for Dynamics NAV since it may cost a lot even though it is for educational purposes.

But if you are planing to continue this as a service provide to a client (in this case to that particular restaurant) you may have to consult with a Dynamics NAV Partner in your country.
