Custom Table Reference

Posted on by 97

Hi All,

I'm having an issue referencing a custom table. I can find the table in business central itself, but not in VS code when i use the AL : Object Designer.

SO i need to add a field to this table, but i cant do the tableextension because i can't find the table.

Can anyone assist?

What is the table you are trying to find ?

If you wonder about the table number you can go to a page that is displaying data for the table and do page inspection CTRL+ALT+F1

Then you will see the table number and the table name and if it is part of the base application or an extention.

If it is part of an extension you need the app-id for the extension and add a dependency to that in your app.json file.

You can read more about it here:
