Dynamics BC - Custom / Copy of a report - Licensing question

Hi,

We have a client in BC (on-premise) that needs customizations done on existing reports.  We copied them into objects in the 50100 range but when running them, getting a Execute permission error.

Confused about how licensing works now?  Vs Old way where you buy a certain set of objects and a given id range.

Hoping someone can share some infos.

Thanks.

For BC On-Premise you still need to buy the objects like the old way and apply that to the license.

    Refer this licensing guide

You still need to buy the object range in on-premise.

In SaaS, the objects are free.

I copied an existing report with id 50100.  In that copy of report, I make use of fields that were added to a table (through extension).

When I put that report (50100) in the menu, the client cannot view that report.  If I upload our developers license, it shows.

What is required here in terms of client's license?

    Thanks

Their license needs to have access to object 50100.

Try checking their license object range
