If the employee has two children and possesses a joint custody, the employee will be entitled to a 50 % exemption for each child. Therefore, I can put a number 1 into the Number Of Dependents field at the Employee State Tax Maintenance window in Dynamics GP 2016. But how to proceed when the employee has 1 joint custody? There is no joint custody field in Dynamics GP and I cant put a decimal number too.
