Dynamics GP slow performance while using Inventory + Manufacturing module

Hi,

 

I'm facing an issue in Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 (with version: 10.00.1368). System gets slow when I open Manufacturing Order window to released the MO Status, and it takes about 45+ minutes to change its status and until that it stops working. Few days back, it took only 10 to 15 minutes.

 

I happens sometimes on other Inventory inquiry windows as well like Item Allocation Inquiry, or Item Transaction inquiry etc. etc.

 

Any suggestion or recommendation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Mr. Richard Whaley,

    I've set the value to 300 but it doesn't resolve the purpose.

    One more thing I want to share with you in this regards.

    Our database server and GP server both are on different domains. Can this be the cause of this problem?

    If not then kindly suggest another solution.

    1.  Check disk space on the server.  You need at least 25% free space, more if your db is large

    2.  Look at user preferences and the AutoComplete and set the number down from 10,0000 (the default) to 300.

    When I run CheckLinks for 3rd Party, it gives me this warning:

    Item (abcde): Missing. Create in Item Maintenance window.
