Use Office 365 Groups to send email from Dynamics 365 Financials, Business

Hello - For the Assisted Setup "Setup Email" function in Dynamics 365 Financials, Business edition can I configure an Office 365 Group email account in place of a user mail account. I tried but it requires a password to authenticate the user. My intent was to send email out using a generic "Sales" accounts instead of my personal mail account. Thank you. Ian

    Hello,

    It doesn't appear that this is possible.  I think the current intent is that it sends as whatever user is currently logged in using NTLM authentication.  This way if you have individual sales people working in Financials it will use their emails when emailing customers, etc...

    Hello,

    Thank you Chris for the reply. My intent was to use any other account but my login email account, which is not the account on my business cards. To do so, I created an email alias and set the alias as the primary account for all replies. The tests were successful. Thanks again. Ian
