Have you tried to "Use Your Own Web Server" vs a Portal

Has anyone tried the "Use Your Own Web Server" option vs. using a portal?  In the recent past, Microsoft required the use of a Portal for Marketing Pages and Events.  In a recent release, I read that this dependency was going away and that you could use your own website.  But has anyone tried this to confirm it is actually working?

    We have several customers who are using this route. Anyone using it feel free to comment and share experiences!

    Yes, I used it, but I didn't like it and decided to find an alternative to it, because I was very impressed with the idea. So I asked for help from a friend of mine who understands all this and he told me about the existence of interserver VPS coupon. This is a very useful thing for any network user, and some companies provide the first month as a trial period. There are no restrictions on this service or anything like that, so you can not worry about the security of use. Use it, guys, it's a very useful thing
