Default language preferences for new users

Could anyone point me in the right direction to set the Default "Language" and "Date, Time and Number Format" preferences for new users created on D365fFO?

Our System Language is set to en-GB, and my "Personal" user preference for the above is set to en-GB, however when I create new users on the system, either manually, by manual import from AAD or batch import, the language preferences default to en-US.

Is there a global parameter that can be set to default the language on new user creation to en-GB?

I don't think there is any parameter exist which does that , however when you impory user you can do some modification to default it to language you want .

Hi JonnieM,

No parameter exists that helps default the language. In code, seems to be setup as "en-us" which is very odd behavior. Here are your options:

1. Update directly on user options form after importing user.

2. If you don't want to do one by one, go to user options and open in excel, use excel add-in to update language (preferred approach if you are importing large number of users at one time). This helps you update large number of records and in few seconds.

3. Last resort is modification (avoid to extent possible) as once users are setup, you don't do this activity again.

Hi JonnieM,

The language is being copied from the Admin user. If you change it on this user, it will be the default for new users.
