Prevent firing plugin execution while updating record to Dynamics 365

Posted on by 5

I want to update a field without firing the plugin execution. I tried to update it with SQL 4 CDS, but the plugin executes and I get a timeout error (This plugin is updating all child records, but at this case we want to bypass this). Is there a way to achieve this? UPSer

    by code is possible

using the SDK you need to do an UpdateRequest and set the parameter BypassCustomPluginExecution as true

using the Web API you need to add the header MSCRM.BypassCustomPluginExecution as true
