Hi Experts,
I am working on a POC using Copilot Studio + Oracle ERP integration.
The payload contains attachment information (PDF, DOCX, Images, etc.).
I need to:
Retrieve the attachment content.
Extract text/data from the attachment.
Validate the extracted content against business rules.
Return validation results back to Oracle.
Optionally use AI to analyze the document
What is the recommended approach in Copilot Studio for handling attachments received from an API call?

The recommended approach is to use Power Automate as the integration layer, rather than passing the attachment directly through Copilot Studio.
Receive the Oracle request using When an HTTP request is received.
Retrieve the attachment using the file URL, API, or Base64 content provided by Oracle.
Extract text/data using AI Builder/document processing or appropriate connectors.
Apply deterministic business-rule validation in Power Automate.
Use Copilot Studio/AI prompts optionally for semantic document analysis or complex interpretation.
Return the structured validation result to Oracle using the HTTP Response action.
For large or long-running documents, use an asynchronous pattern with a request/status ID rather than keeping the HTTP request open.
