Looking for GP Manufacturing Users

Our company is currently looking for an ERP system and considering both MS GP and Global Shop Solutions. I have had difficulty in finding anyone who is currently using the manufacturing module for feedback as to whether or not it is a good fit for our business. Outside of the production/manufacturing aspects of GP, we are very comfortable and prefer GP to Global Shop Solutions. This manufacturing piece is the only unknown we have, albeit it's a big one, before committing to GP. Because Global Shops Solutions is very industry specific, their presentation of the manufacturing capabilities was incredible. Whereas GP seems to cover many more industries, the presentation we had was much more general and did not give us full indication of its capabilities. I don't think this is any fault of our consultant, but instead the nature of the product. So I am looking for a reference currently using GP Manufacturing to possibly speak/e-mail with - and if local to us (Lakeland, FL) preferably visit to see GP manufacturing in action.

    Thanks for the quick follow up Frank. I will try to reach Richard. However, I am open to other suggestions too. Does anyone know anything about Global Shop Solutions? Being on the accounting side of things, I definitely prefer GP to Global Shop, but our president was blown away by the manufacturing capabilities of Global Shop Solutions. We were able to see a local company using Global Shops ERP system and hope we can find one using GP MFG. Thanks in advance.

    You need to talk to Richard Whaley.  He has tons of experience implementing GP MFG in numerous companies and he is located in Central FL.
