Analyse a prior Adjust Exchange Rates (revaluation)

Posted on by 127
Hello all,

at some time in the past a revaluation was carried out on our open A/R and open A/P - is there anyway of reviewing the batch that was run and how it calculated the gain and loss?
Thanks

There are two pages you can check, but you will still have to do some analysis to understand the calculations done by the system:

    1. Exchange Rate Adjustment Registers - every time the Adjust Exchange Rates batch job is run it creates one or multiple entries in this page.

    2. G/L Registers - add a filter on the Source Code field, and filter for EXCHRATADJ, this will show you all entries created by the Adjust Exchange Rates batch job that hit the G/L. Select the entry that matches your date, and then click on General Ledger to view the G/L Entries that were created and posted by the system
