Power Automate Help

I have created an approval flow using power automate for D365 customer insight journeys.

The issue I am having is with the start and wait for an approval component, within the "Details" field I want a URL which takes the approver directly to the email. I cant seem to get this part to work. My URL path is correct and the approver has access to D365. I am using the Emails table (msdynmkt_emails) and the field is Preview HTML (let me know if I should be using a different field). When the email is received I am facing two problems depending on which approach I use:

1. The full HTML text is being displayed rather than just the URL. I have tried quite a few different things to convert the HTML from showing as text but with no success. If you could provide the correct syntax that I need to enter into the Details field would be helpful.

2. Where a link does display, the error HTTP Error 404 - Not Found

Thank you

    Thanks Ramesh,

    I have done as you have suggested but still it doesn't work.

    Within the start and wait for an approval component I have something along the lines of **Click here to view* and then the formula:

    concat('https://org111f111z.crm11.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=1XXXXXXX-XXXg-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXc&etn=msdynmkt_email&id=', triggerOutputs()?['body/msdynmkt_emailid'])

    I have also entered the same formula in the Item Link Description field just to test, when I click on the URL here when the email is received, I get the message "Hmm ... can't reach this page" followed by my D365 domain and "server IP address could not be found".

    The URL org environment path is correct, so is the APPID and I'm using the trigger output for email ID.

    I have tried entering the actual email ID long number and copy and pasting the entire URL into a browser to test if I can get to a specific email and even though the path and everything entered appears to be correct I still get "hmm...can't reach this page" or I get directed to the Business Management page in Power Platform, but never to the actual email.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I hope below can help

    You should build the record link yourself inside the flow. D365 URL format for an Email record looks like this:

    appid = the app id of Customer Insights - Journeys app (you can find it in URL when you open the app).

    etn = entity name = msdynmkt_email

    id = unique ID of the email (GUID).

    Thanks, Ramesh
