Adding more questions and general performance issues

I've built a survey. It currently has 98 questions and a little bit of logic. Some of the questions have a lot of options, but it is by no means a complicated survey.

Currently I can't add any more questions as it says /this form has the maximum number of questions/. However, I have deleted questions and still get this restriction. At one point I had 102 questions and deleted down to 98 but still can't add more.

Also is there anything I can do to make it run a little better? The second I start amending the form it says /saving.../ and never seems to finish. If I close the window and come back, often it has loft the last few bits that I did.

Any help would be amazing.
