Hello,
I created a transfer order from Warehouse A to warehouse B . The voucher under Transfer Order History was created for shipment which had postings for both receipt as well.Also, there was no voucher posting under receive.
Dr Inventory Receipt
Cr Inventory Issue
Dr Inter unit receivable
Cr Inter unit payable
Now, i created transfer order (Return) from warehouse B to warehouse A.The voucher under Transfer Order History was created under receive only which had postings for shipment as well.Also , no voucher was created under shipment. Journal posting same as above.
Dr Inventory Receipt
Cr Inventory Issue
Dr Inter unit receivable
Cr Inter unit payable
This is how when there was no voucher entry.
Is there any particular reason , why there is this selective posting under shipment/receive ? Under standard, where exactly should the postings be? Because i assume under shipped the journal should be Dr.Inter unit receivable Cr Inventory and under receive should be Dr. Inventory Cr Inter unit payable.
Also, when the voucher posting is created only under shipment, the receipt journal also is posted in the same voucher even before the transfer order status changes to "Received"
Please help.
