Now many custom reports can I make with the NAV design tool?

I know that with standard SSRS and SQL I can have any number of reports, but with i the customization and tool set of NAV: How many custom reports can I have?  It's based upon my license, right?  When I look at my VOICE report I see number sequences 350 (Starter Pack), 360 Extended Pack, 450 Full concurrent CAL; and 490 ISV Device CAL.  Then it jumps to 8100 (Codeunits 20); 8200 (Tables); 8350 Pages; and 8750 XML Ports (100) and finally country code.

But not line just for Reports.  I thought reports was 5,000 or something like that.  I have on NAV 2015.

    On your current license you have 100 default report quantity(eligible)

    also you can purchase additional if you want but its will be bit of expensive

    so... you can use several ways

    POWER BI

    Access DB level

    You can make more report by DB level (access table by DB) : this is not counting you can create unlimited reports :) ,

    but this report cannot access on your application (direct export only )

    By default, starter pack comes with 100 Report objects.

    You can connect to CustomerSource or PartnerSource if you have purchase extra Reports.

    By default, it is 100 in the starter pack. Please refer to page 11 of the guide: download.microsoft.com/.../MicrosoftDynamicsNAV2016_ProductOverview_and_CapabilityGuide.pdf

    You can purchase more packages by 100 in a package.

    Default you can design 100 report.

    Hi Ron McVicar,

    Starter and Extended Packs start with 100 reports by default: Report Designer (100 Reports).

    You can buy more reports according to your business requirement.

    You need to have 8400 for Reports which will show how many custom reports you can develop, the number sequence for the report you can define as per your need.
