Hi all,

Is there any way to update inactive records without changing the status of the records.

I have plugin code which will trigger on update of a field, there are some inactive records where i want to update without changing the status of the records.

Your plugin will be able to update the inactive record without setting it to active first - this limitation is only for Workflows. There are a few system entities (such as quote) that can't be updated once closed - but must can be.

The only way to this work is (with plugin):

. Activate the record

. Update what you want

. Inactive the record again
