Social Pane is empty and shows no activity (no question, but a NOTE!)

Hi @ all.

During the last weeks I was faced with a strange issue regarding our Social Pane on Account entity.

On some accounts, the Social Pane was blank... although some activities were linked to the account.

We have made many attempts to identify the problem... without success. No errors in Event Viewer or in the log of the application. The search on the internet unfortunately not helped much, so we decided to contact Microsoft. But we felt that it had to be related to activities.

After a session with an Application Engineer we found the reason for this issue.

In our case the "Opportunity close" activity was the reason for our issue.

Some of our Opportunities do not have a theme. It's empty. When the opportunity is closed, the system generates a faulty regarding (no name).

After deleting the faulty activities, the social pane works as expected.

Maybe that can help someone.
