Batch job: Inventory status change

I'm currently setting up a batch job to run in the background, where it should change inventory status from Received to Available on the items that have been received on Purchase orders.

But for some strange reason the batch history logs says ‘Error’ on all logs…and the items doesn't change from Received to Available.
This is how I have specified on the parameters, and I have never had any issue with this before in other companies.
It does work if I have ‘Ordered’ in the Inventory status field. But we have changed on all vendors to have Default Inventory status for Purchase orders: Received instead of Ordered. Why does the inventory status change batch job not work?? Everything in the on-hand list have status: Received.

The view tasks on the error logs doesn't say anything either. And I'm using this class name: WhsInventoryStatusConvertDenormalizedInventSum

    Hi @CU15101437-1

Did you checked the batch job history logs, whether you have any logs to identify the issue?

If it's standard feature, could you please let me know whether you have updated your environment recently?

    Thanks,
    Subra

Hi @Subra, thank you for your comment.

Yes, as I mentioned, the logs only says ‘Error’ and nothing more. No indicate on what the error means and why it has occured.

They are currently running version 10.0.48, in UAT-environment.
It's not an issue if I put status: Ordered in the parameters, the batch job runs smoothly without any problem. But if I change it to Received, then I get the error on the batch job and I don't understand why.

    @CU15101437-1

Please collect the trace and see whether you have any difference there. since you don't have access for their dev environment.

    Hi @CU15101437-1 ,

Could you please try applying only the Received status filter and test it with just one item to see if that works?

    Regards,

    Syed Haris Shah

I have tried a similar approach for the inbound process by changing the inventory status from Received to Available, and I did not encounter any issues.

I ran the batch job, and it worked fine without any issues.

In your case, I assume there might be an issue with one of the filters. Could you try running it for a single item first to see whether it works?

I also noticed that you have selected Location Profiles in the parameters. Please remove all the Location Profile filters and try running the batch job again.

If it still doesn’t work, could you also try the following option?

Nothing works. I have reached out to the customers supportteam to see if there is any customization behind it.

Thank you all for your responses! Appreciate that.
