Deprecated Dynamics Customer Engagement

Hello,

Our current CE licences (cloud) expire 10 December and we need to renew them to Dynamics Customer Service. I have a few questions.

  • Is a data migration required?
  • Will the interface look different?
  • Will our Client self-service portal still work if we only change over the licenses
  • We currently have a power automate process running from Dynamics CE to DevOps. Will this still work correctly with a license change only?
  • Is there anything else I need to take into consideration with regards to the changeover
  • I have been advised that even though we currently using Dynamics CE it is still exactly the same as Dynamics Customer Service
Your assistance here will be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

    Hi Partner,
1.For the app interface, you can get one customer service trial to check it:
2.For the data migration, portal and power automate:
As long as it's still your original environment, the license changes won't affect them.
    1)Power automate
Customer service license make organization gain rights to use power automate and portal:
    2)Portal(power page)
Authenticated users licensed with Dynamics 365 enterprise licenses, are granted use rights for Power Pages
3.You can refer to the following Dynamics 365 License transition guide:
4.For more details, I suggest you create a support ticket for professional assistance following the below procedure.
