How to show barcode in NAV report under Windows Chinese

Hi Sir,

I have barcode font installed in my system(Chinese Windows). Firstly, I test the barcode font in Excel. And, it's ok to scan by scanner after printout. Similarly, I use the barcode font in NAV(5.0 sp1) report. Just set "FontName" to that barcode font name in the txt's properties, but it doesn't convert the text to barcode. However, after I try to change my system to English Windows(Non Unicode to English), it's ok to show barcode in NAV report. I'm not sure that it's barcode font issue or NAV report issue. How to solve it under Chinese Windows? Could you please kindly advise? Thanks!

I don't know about Windows (Chinese) but if you go to this link

www.mibuso.com/downloads.asp

and click on search on the left then type in "barcode" it will give you some other barcode options.

Some of them are created using code and some like the barcode generator create a barcode picture that can be imported into your report for scanning. This way bypassing the whole font issue.
