Windows 7 with RMS 2.0 rp5700

Hi, I installed Windows 7 RMS 2.0 system with a brand new RP5700 POS system. All the devices work fine with exception of receipt printer. The RMS POS Store operations crashes when a receipt is printed onto the printer (A794). Do i need to install latest RMS 2,.0 service pack to work with Windows 7. All my systems are windows xp currently. Thank you

Yes. You will need at least SP3 for this to work correctly.

SP2 had a update to the database from version 2.0 to version 2.01 that will have to be ran if this is not already installed.

I can provide this if you don’t have access to download it.

Sounds like you need a service pack. RMS 2.0 didn't initially support Windows 7 due to changes in the OS.
