Hello everyone, recently we have been tasked to do an estimation on what are the possible charges if the customer were to use the dynamics marketing. i have gotten the Standard pricing from Marketing Pricing | Microsoft Dynamics 365 but i m hoping someone will be able to point out did i missed anything I would really appreciate some input here. Thanks.
This are the few areas i would like to have some input on
1) Environment - 750 USD per month/ tenant for organization with existing 365 - PRD
- 450 USD per month/tenant for additional enviroment - UAT or DEV
Assuming they will require 1 PRD, 1 UAT and 1 DEV the total cost per month will be (750 + (450 x2)) = 1600 USD per month
3) Storage - what is the storage that comes with the environment? and 40 USD per tenant per month for additional per 1 GB ? Does the million of emails sending out have impact of the storage.
4) Interaction - As this implementation would be for organization based out of the US, SMS and push notification is not supported under interaction i assume (Do correct me if i m wrong). For interaction i will just focus on the email. Assuming the customer have their email servers etc already can they used that services instead of dynamics marketing email services and which email services will be a better choice as we are talking about campaigns that will send out millions of emails. their current email services required it to run overnight to cater for this volume
5) Marketing contact calculation (Contacts) - Assuming the contacts on the marketing list are above 500k every month. (on a range of 1 mil to 2.5 mil), they would have fall under Tier 5 with a min purchase of 10 pack for 500k of contact (50k contact X 10 pack) and together with 5 mil of interaction (500k interaction x 10 )
Please let me know if anything if missed out when doing a sizing for this

Here are the explations for the issues:
1. Environment
We can purchase Dynamics Marketing license 750 USD per month/ tenant for organization with existing 365, 250 USD per month/ tenant for non-production use.
2. Storage
Power Apps storage includes database, file and log capacity. Users will get 10 GB of database capacity, 20 GB of file capacity, and 2 GB of log capacity by default. Each additional license user provides additional capacity licenses to increase the overall available capacity of the tenant.

Emails store at Database capacity, millions of emails sending out have impact of the Database capacity, Common Data Service Dataverse Capacity takes up 40 USD per tenant per month for additional per 1 GB. Email attachment store at File capacity, Common Data Service File Capacity takes up 2 USD per tenant per month for additional per 1 GB.
