Error on Opportunity when Close As Won or Lost

Hi,

We are getting following error when we are closing opportunity as Won or Lost

The Web Service plug-in failed in OrganizationId: 8f2c1c45-866b-e311-80b7-005056ab9521; SdkMessageProcessingStepId: d5cdbb1b-ea3e-db11-86a7-000a3a5473e8; EntityName: opportunity; Stage: 30; MessageName: Win; AssemblyName: Microsoft.Crm.Extensibility.InternalOperationPlugin, Microsoft.Crm.ObjectModel, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35; ClassName: Microsoft.Crm.Extensibility.InternalOperationPlugin; Exception: Unhandled Exception: System.MissingMethodException: Constructor on type 'Microsoft.Crm.Sales.Entities.OpportunityClose' not found.

    Why not search for WinOpportunityRequest or LoseOpportunityRequest and there are the samples

    Hi

    Based on the error appearing in Microsoft.Crm.Extensibility.InternalOperationPlugin this seems to be an error from the internal CRM processes that are part of the inner workings of CRM. It looks like it fails to create the OpportunityClose type which of course is neccessary in order to close an opportunity. This type should always be available since it's an out-of-the-box entity.

    Since this seems to be an internal error I suggest you contact Microsoft Support and provide them with that error message.

    Hello,

    I think that there is a field required to close the opportunity, and that field is empty.

    Maybe the field is hidden.
