Hi Team,
There is a requirement to Replicate Microsoft Dynamics 365 online Data to multiple Azure SQL databases. There are external applications will make use of these Azure SQL databases. We can replicate the data from dynamics 365 to Azure SQL databases using Data export service. However, With Data export service 15 minutes is a typical synchronization latency. This is not acceptable by our customer.
Please suggest other options for Data replication and synchronization.
If we speak about the online version of Microsoft Dynamics, you can replicate your data to Azure Database by using Skyvia. No coding at all is required, so you integration will be easy, and they can be done in little to no time.
Thank you Michel.
I have used SSIS along with Kingsway Soft in one of my previous Microsoft Dynamics CRM project implementation.
In the current architecture. I have Microsoft CRM 2011 onpremise system. I have staging Area replicating data from CRM 2011 system using ETL(SSIS). I have Datawarehouse DB having data required for reporting purpose from staging Area using ETL(SSIS). I have BI, Analytics Frame work(SSAS cubes are developed from Datawarehouse DB). I have reporting framework(SSRS reports eveloped from Datawarehouse DB ). Reporting framework is used by sharepoint. BI, Analytics Frame work is used by Microsoft BI tools (Powerpivot, powerview, geoflow, Datamining )for excel.
We are upgrading Microsoft CRM 2011 onpremise system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 online. The above architecture has lot of latency and deployment time taken is more.
Hence, Looking for Data replication solution
Hello,
Please take a look at the SSIS add-on for Dynamics 365 built by Kingsway Soft
This will allow you to build an SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service) package that automatically picks up information from Dynamics 365 on any schedule you see fit.

This takes a fair larger amount of effort to configure but, allows you to be more precise with a schedule.
Please note that one of the reasons why Microsoft tells you about the 15 minute latency for the Data Export Service is due to possible large amounts of data.
Data has to be transferred from one location to another, which takes time. There is no true SQL Server replication available for Dynamics 365 Online, everything is done by webservices which have an overhead which contributes to the latency.
You will experience some amount of latency for any solution.
