Maximum File Upload on inspection responses

Anyone know if there is a maximum file upload size for inspection responses and whether it can be extended.

I've had a couple of engineers taking a work photo and getting informed the file is to large.

Thanks

    Hi,

    Could this help you:

    Has anyone had any further info on this?

    Currently I have a attachment limit of 5Mb as shown in the thread Receiving a file size too large error on mobile app - Dynamics 365 Field Service Forum Community Forum,

    When trying to attach an image from the phone photo roll to an Inspection I'm receiving an error stating the file limit is 3Mb (3072 kilobytes).

    I'm at a loss where this file limit is being set, any ideas?

    Yes, we're experiencing the same issue in offline mode. Microsoft has a fix for online mode, but not for offline mode.

    Microsoft is not to keeping up with the new mobile technology, that's continually generating larger pictures.

    Microsoft needs to fix the limitation problem or deal with it by automatically compressing pictures in the inspection in offline cases.

    The fix for online mode is:

    Make the field "Advanced Settings" visible in the Field Service Settings form. There you can change the following line from false to true.

    inspection.allowuploadlargefilesonline=false
