    Issue:
Unable to add a new company in Dynamics 365 Business Central. The "Add Company" option is disabled for an admin, and a Super user receives the error: "You can't create a company because you're not a super user," even though they are.

    Solution Steps:
    1. Verify Permissions in Business Central:
Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Users > Active users, select the affected user, and check if they are assigned the correct license (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central license).
    2. Check User Permissions in Business Central:
In Business Central, go to Users and confirm:
      • The affected user has the SUPER permission set (case-sensitive).
      • There are no conflicting permission sets that might override SUPER rights.
    3. Environment Access Check:
Ensure the user is accessing the correct environment (Production or Sandbox) where the SUPER role is valid.
    4. Reassign SUPER Role (if needed):
If there's any doubt, reassign the SUPER permission:
      • Navigate to Users.
      • Remove and re-add the SUPER permission set.
      • Refresh the user session or have them log out and back in.
    5. Admin Center Role Clarification:
Being an admin in Microsoft 365 Admin Center doesn't automatically grant full permissions inside Business Central. Ensure that Business Central roles are explicitly assigned.
    6. Browser Cache & Session:
Ask the user to clear the browser cache or use a private/incognito window and retry.
    7. Check for Feature Restrictions:
In some hosted environments (especially partner-managed or CSP), adding companies may be restricted. Contact your partner or Microsoft support if the issue persists.

Let me know if you're in a partner-hosted setup or using a CSP subscription – that might change the available options.
