[D365FO] Migrating AX2012R2 to D365FO SaaS license

Good day all.

One of our customer wants to migrate from their current AX to the Finance Operation SaaS version.

I would like to know whether we can migrate their existing AX licenses to the FO version and how would be the migration rules.

Is there any reference where I can find the official information and is there any additional cost needed? I'm really confuse currently and I cannot proper explanation to answer this question.

If not mistaken there is no direct migration of user license, Microsoft would offer some credit based on the AX2012 subscription depending on the duration and also offer AX2012 migration to D365 FO too. I couldn't remember the tech talk/post on this.

Since you mentioned our customer, I believe you are from a partner, then you could try to raise a ticket on LCS for this, this would be quicker to get the information you need (they will direct you to the right team for you)
