i have a smartlist report called "usage" that is under "sales" and its the only report that take more than 10 minutes to populate does anyone of you know the cause and if i can fix this ?

If you try this on your server is it any quicker? What speed are your network cards and hubs? If it runs quicker on your server then the issue resides with your network.
i have a lot of memory in the computer that's not the issue.
So is the speed the same across all computers? How much memory do you have in your computer?
yes we tried this already but for some reason its not a network issue
If you try this on your server or another computer does it take this long? 10 minutes for 1,200 is too long. I would suspect your network as being the issue.
it shows 1200 criteria are being returned , when i start searching on a smaller range it does appear normally within seconds
How many records are being returned? If you specify a smaller range does it go any quicker?
it takes more time to start displaying line so once i open it , it does take 10 minutes for all the lines to appear.
Does it take a lot of time simply to start displaying lines or simply for the complete list to appear? How many sales orders do you have? If you try search by sales order number with a begin and end range does this help. You could also add the sales doc type. This would force it to use an existing index.
i have no search criteria i go into the smartlist click on usage smartlist , and then i have to wait to 8 to 10 minutes for it to populate then i can put in the search criteria
