How do i implement the following

  1. When I book a WO for 15 hours to a technician working from 8am to 4pm the scheduler do not propose me to book the extra 7 hours for the next day but book 15hrs straight from 8am to 11pm.The need is when booking over than technician working hours the Scheduler should propose to move it to next day during working hours.
  2. If I have a 20 hours job and I need to book it to many technician tech 1 : 5hours, tech 2 : 10 hours tech 2: 5 hours : can I see after booking tech 1 and 2 how many hours are still remaining (total 20hrs, booked 15hrs remaining to be booked 5 hrs) ?

    For #2:

The resource requirement has a field "remaining duration". If you book the first 5 hours to tech 1, the RR shows 15 remaining hours. By default, if remaining hours goes to 0, the RR will disappear from the list.

For #2 Alexander's answer is correct. If you drag and drop the requirement from schedule boards requirements list to a resource, the default duration of the created booking is always the remaining duration. That booked duration however can easily be adjusted by dragging the left or right border of the booking rule to make the booking starting earlier or end later.

For #1 I recommend using the Daily View. This  does the splitting of a long booking automatically so that your resource is only booked during the work hours and not during a night break or  a lunch break.
