Hi Everyone .
I am trying upload cheque no from xml port but my page level validation on cheque is not executing .
GVGenJnlLine.VALIDATE("Cheque No.","Gen. Journal Line"."Cheque No.");
i had written the above code in the Cust_l - Import::OnBeforeInsertRecord().

I agree with Suresh, I didn't see page word.
You have to move the code to table trigger.

If you write some code on the page it will not execute on xmlport import it will execute only the table level validations.
Did you write GVGenJnlLine.Modify; after validation?
Are you using fields directly in xmlport or some variables and then validating fields later?
