I am in the UK using the latest version with the new VAT date features enabled.
I would like to be able to submit UK MTD VAT returns using the VAT date field instead of the Posting Date.
If I use the standard calc & post VAT feature I can select to use either posting date, doc date or VAT date.
On the MTD VAT return there is no option to change the date type used and the posting date is used automatically.
Ideally I would like to be able to make use of the VAT date field and still have accurate VAT returns. Am I missing some setup somewhere?
Does anyone have any information if this is an oversight and will be fixed or if this is by design.
