GP SRS Reports

I am running GP2010 and SQL 2008.

Have rolled out the GP SRS and Excel reports, but believe I may have messed up the security in an effort to tighten it up before all users see them.

Users who had access to the SRS web site (http://servername/reports) can no longer access that site.   These users also have lost the ability to view/add Metrics in the GP home screen.

Can someone please share the default SRS permissions (or SQL permissions) to see if I can get this started over again?

Thank you.

    Kelly,

If you want to get back to the "out of the box" settings, you could just delete the folders and reports and re-deploy them.

    Thanks

I was looking for the "out of box" security settings of the SSRS site settings and folder permissions.

    Kelly,

    Keep the following in mind.

    • You can secure your reports by folder or by individual item.  Which do you want?
    • You can choose to use inheritance with your security.
    • Your users need access to the SRS reports (given through Reports Manager in native mode) and also to the data (given through SQL).

    Thanks

    Rob
