Move DB from 1 devbox to another automatically

Hello,

Is it possible to transfer DB backup from 1 devbox enviornment to another with some powershell script or so?

Currently I use "Azure storage explorer". I have it installed on both machines. I make a backup of source enviornment DB, upload it on Azure storage explorer and then download it on destination machine and do the DB restore.

Can I somehow automate all this?

Ok, backup and restore part is easy, but can I do anything with powershell or something so the transfer step is also automated?

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

Of course it's possible (it just doesn't have anything to do with Dynamics). Check out Quickstart: Upload, download, and list blobs with PowerShell, for example.

An F&O-specific solution would be uploading the file to LCS.
