I'm trying to add onto a quote template the contact name which is on the opportunity from which the quote is generated. I've tried every combination of 1:N and N:1, even tried adding all of them onto the word template but I can't seem to find the field. This seems like such a simple thing to achieve yet none of the fields are populating. Am I missing something?
Hi partner,
Please follow these steps.
1. Click Word Template > Download Template.
2. Select Opportunity in the N:1 Relationship. Download it.
3. Open the word and open the xml mapping pane, select the quote xml part and expand opportunity_quotes, find parentcontactidname and insert its plain text. Save the word.
4. Upload the word template.
