Just reaching out to see if anyone has encountered Dynamics GP2010 with Windows 8.1. A client is looking at this combination, and they are currently on GP2010 SP3 (2044)

Thanks Jonathan, however, I do believe that my question was directly related to the original topic which pertained to using GP 2010 with Windows 8.1.
I ran into an issue installing GP 2010 while using the Surface Pro 2, which is using Windows 8.1, and found this thread; I figured my question or a hint could be given. Fortunately, I solved my own question.
Rodney in the future please make sure if your question isn't related to this topic to open a separate thread. This helps when other people are searching forums for an issue we like to keep each one to just one issue.
Actually, I think I just found the answer to my own question.
So, how did you get the Microsoft Application Error Reporting 11.0 (Dr Watson) component installed? I am trying to install GP 2010 on a Surface Pro 2, and I cannot seem to get this component to install. I've been able to get all the other required components to install separately.
Thanks,
We have more than 5 Windows 8.1 machines with GP2010 (including SP1, R2 and SP3) and no issue faces so far. Surely you can install.
Hope this helps!!!
I have also installed Dynamics GP 2010 on Windows 8.1 a few times, no issues so far.
Hi Mick,
We are into feature development of Microsoft Dynamics GP (2010 to 2013 SP2) . Our work stations has Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit and We didn't face any issues working with GP 2010 with SQL Server 2012.
