Overdue purchase invoice amount on openingspage not the same as total excellist

Hello Forum,

On the openingspage I find an activity called Overdue Purch. Invoice Amount. The amount of this activity is not the same as the related excelfile when I click on "See more" / Page / edit in Excel. I would expect both the totals should be the same.

What can be the cause? Please find attached my printscreens.

Thanks for the answer.

Greetings,

I’d expect the role centre shows the total in local currency. Have you summed the excel file in local currency (Lcy) or is that the currency of the invoice?

    Hello Josh,

In my prod environment both totals (on the openings page and in the Excelfile) are in the same currency.  If I do a check for the overdue sales invoices the totals are the same.

Normally one should expect a total, which details can be downloaded in Excel, must be the same as a sum in the excelfile.

In my sandbox "test", which is a copy of my prod environment, this tenant shows a different total on the openingspage (activity) in comparison with my prod environment.

When I look into this total in detail (click on "see more") I see all the related purchase invoices. When I go to page and then choose "open in excel" I get a list of the overdue invoices. When I sum the amounts I get the expected total. This Excelfile total (of my sandbox tenant) is the same as the Excelfile total of my prod environment tenant.

So I think it is fair to say that the total on my openingspage of my tenant in the prod environment does not show the correct total. Perhaps it has not been updated (automatically)?

    Thanks for your answer.

    Greetings,

    John

    Hi John,

There was a known issue with the tile "Overdue Purch Invoice Amount" in the past, but this should be resolved in the meantime.

What exact version and build of Business Central are you using?
