Hi there,
We have a plan to Integrate the Dynamics 365 Customer Service (On-Premise) with SharePoint Online.
At the moment, there is already integration of Dynamics 365 Customer Service (On-Premise) with SharePoint (On-Premise)
While it is evident that Server-Based SharePoint Integration is the recommended approach, enabling the this approach has the pre-requisites of enabling the IFD which in-turn needs Claims-based authentication.
My Question here is that we do not need IFD for the external access as all our users are internal users based on the Windows Active-Directory authentication. Whereas the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Active Directory users are deployed on the same domain.
My Questions:
As we do not need the external access, do we still need to enable the claims-based authentication over the Active Directory authentication?
Can we go ahead with the IFD enabling without enabling the Claims-based authentication?
