I have several users in a child BU that can for some reason, “track an email message and associate it with a contact record in the parent BU, even though there is no regarding object ID for contact set on the email message”.
All users in the Child BU have the same problem and I am not entirely sure how this is happening.
All users are members of "Global Team" that exists in the parent BU but has no security roles assigned to it.
Does membership in this team cause user security to “view” the parent BU a current level BU as opposed to a parent BU?
How can I prevent users in the child BU from associating or tracking emails to a contact record in the parent BU while still allowing them to see the records present there and permitting them to track to their hearts content in their own business unit?
What specific privileges do I need to zero in on to achieve this?
