I found an API for getting all the items from business central.
For reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/api-reference/v1.0/resources/dynamics_itemBut I'm not sure how reliable it is. What if we have 1000 products in Business Central, do we get all the products in a single API call?
Is there any other better way to export Products from Business Central through programming?
Thanks
A query object might be a good idea. You can export it as CSV, XML or expose as a web service.
If this is for a consistent export the destination may hold the cards here. Are all the items needed for each export? A filter about last date modified for instance might be great here as the volume of items exported could drop depending on the user process with that data.
Thanks for your reply. I'm new to business central, from your above answer if I'm not wrong, you are suggesting to create a query object and expose it as web service, right?
