We need a way for many employees to be able to submit receipts into the incoming documents. The users can have a team user license but will not have a full license. How can we accomplish this?

Is there an option to email documents to to D365 System?

    Hello Ezra,

I think I need a little more information on what you are looking for.

Are you referring to the Incoming Documents which come from the OCR Service (Lexmark)?  With the OCR service you can create purchase invoices or credit memos from documents, is this what you are looking at doing?  I will have to see if this is something that a Team Member user license has access too, but I don't believe they have access to create these types of transactions.

Or are you talking about normal workflow process where a user would create a transaction and then submit it for approval? If so what kind of receipt transaction are you looking at? I believe a Team Member User has access to approve workflows, but I don't believe they will have access to create the documents.

Or are you needing something else entirely, can you please provide me with some additional details?

    Regards,

    Jennifer Reinhardt

What we need is a way for employees to use the mobile version of D365 and take photos of their receipts and have that receipt show up in My Incoming documents.  Full users of the system can do this but we need an efficient way for our many field employees to submit receipts. Most of these employees have the team user license not the full license and the option to upload a receipt is not on their devices. Please see the attached screen shots:

I guess There is no way, to able it without writing code, you can write a custom wokflow to transfer email attachments to the incoming documents.

    Hi Ahmet,

Can you please give me some instructions on how I would write this custom workflow?

    Thanks

    Ezra
