Hello, i have a question on NAV. Is it posible to update the description of a journal entry once its posted? Not wanting to do a reverse entry just because i made a mistake on the description field.

Once entry posted on ledger you can not modified the same . It is always recommended that once entry posted then reverse the same if found something wrong.
Now for changing the description you can write a program to update the same but you need to update it everywhere where the entry impacted.
Any Journal Entry or Ledger Entries are posted entries they cannot be modified directly from the page, either you have to make the customization to make the field editable temporarly and fix the issue or open the table and fix that one incorrect entry.
Although it is not recommended to modify any ledger entries but if it is only one entry then you can do it on the table.
The modification of (almost) any data in the record is not possible in a standard version. However it is possible with a small development. You would need to make the field editable on the page - this is quite a small customization that your partner can make. Remember to setup the Change Log for that field so it will be possible to track who had change what and when.
