My organization is just starring with Field Services.
So my question is. With the release of the new Microsoft mobile app, is it worth it to develop the Resco Mobile app?
I am assuming the will stop paying for the Resco Mobile app? Just guessing.
If you were just starting out, which app would you use and why?

The new Field Service Mobile is missing a lot of features and functionality. - www.daymandynamics.com/.../ and it would be a lot more difficult to build out requirments due to the amount of features are missing
I suspect Microsoft to match a lot of Rescos current features as time goes on but I would just use the current Field Service Mobile App then once the new field service mobile is ready then you can just mirgrate your changes a lot easier as slot of the missing features will be available.
Some comments:
1. You are not paying any extra money for the Field Service Mobile app from Resco, unless you plan to use it for other purposes, than for Field Service.
2. The Field Service from Microsoft is actually in Preview and does not cover everything, which the FSM does - have a look at the documentation, there is a compare table: docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-2020-power-platform
Beside what is in the table, there is another gap - you cannot create a booking in the app and let it geo-code with your current position with a single click, like in the FSM
