Getting Error "Knowledge Management Setting Could not be saved."

Hi All,

I am getting below error in Knowledge management Setting in D365. This error occur when I select record type as custom entity and Clicked on "Next"

Error in Log File is :

The Schema name msdyn_entityName_knowl for type Entity is not unique. An msdyn_entityName_knowl with same name already exists.

Please do let me know resolution on this?

    Check the length of the logical name of entity for which you are enabling knowledge management search. It shouldn't exceed 24 characters in order to enable knowledge search as per below article:

    learn.microsoft.com/.../data-platform-create-entity

    Hi,

    What is your CRM DB version? You can get this from About section near Advance find.

    Can you please download log share here?

    Can you also open Chrome Developer tool hit F12 and open Network tab. Perform the save operation and check Network tab for any server call and their response.

    I believe System Configuration is a custom entity which you have created? Please confirm.

    Seems like the error message is quite unique for your organisation. I suggest raising a ticket with Microsoft Support.
