Postman Call Custom API and Authenticate token in one request not two.

Posted on by 6
Hello,

I have adesire to call custom api from postmat using an application registration (client and secret) in one request shot, instead of calling microsoft identity authentication url then copying token to request the custom api.

Any suggestions please.

You can write a pre-request script that requests a token from the authority and stores it in a postman variable. Then use the variable value with the token in the actual request to the custom api.

you can't do in a single request because they are two different endpoints (one to get the token and another to execute the custom api)
