How can I remove the 'Forums' section on the Home Page of a Power Apps Portal? Is the only way via directly editing the HTML source?

    Hi partner,

Yes, we should edit the home page template in Dynamics 365 Portals.

If you want to hide the forum link for all users, please refer to this thread.

If you want to only show this forum link for administrator and hide it for other users, you could refer to this blog.

    Hope it helps.

    Dear Andrew,

    Greetings of the day!

In regards to your concerns, you can also try the below solution on your end. Which might sounds interesting for you.

You have to remove manually from code, kindly follow the steps below:

    Steps:

In Dynamics 365 ,Go to Portals -> Web Templates -> Double Click on Home (Open Home record in edit mode)

In source field there is a code of home page, from that you have to remove/comment code which you want to remove from portal.

    Ex:Remove "Forum" text

Remove   "<h1>{{ forums_sm.adx_name | escape }}</h1>" this line from code & save the record.

You can find the screen shot for your reference over here

After that ,Refresh home page of portal,If still not changed then clear cache of portal.

You will add/remove code  based on your requirement.

You will also modify code using Portal Code Editor in XrmToolBox:

Also, we found one link for your reference

I hope it helps! Let me know in case of any other concern.

    Kind Regards,

    CRMjetty
