Quantity (Base) depends upon the Unit Of measure Code you have selected in Sales Line and calculates based on setup of Item Units of Measure setup and Qty. per Unit of Measure on Item Card

    Hi,

As mentioned by Mohana, if your Item's Base Unit of Measure is PCS and you wish to sell it in BOX too.  If one BOX contains 10 PCS, you would set up the Item Unit of Measure as BOX with Base Unit of Measure 10 PCS.

So if you sell one BOX of that Item, the Quantity would be 1 and Quantity (Base) would b 10.

    Best Regards,

    MMV

    RE: Sales line table

Quantity is the quantity you enter on the sales line where as Quantity(Base) is the multiply of the Qty. Per Unit of Measure of the UOM you select on the sales line.

For example: if you have an item with two UOM, PCS and PALLET where PALLET is defined as 12 PCS, then on your sales line when you enter qty. 1 and select UOM as PALLET then

the Quantity is 1, and Quantity(Base) will be 12.

So to answer your question Quantity and Quantity(Base) may differ depending upon the UOM you select on the line and same rule applies for other quantity fields.
