Hi,
I am working in a finance team in Japan.
Our tax firm asked me to prepare data which includes all accounts in foreign currencies in Trail Balance of last year-end.
I could check each account one by one which is in JPY or which is in foreign currencies, but it will obviously take a lot of time.
It would be nice if anyone could kindly advise me how to extract or sort out only balances in foreign currencies in year-end TB.

Hello NMM,
To filter balance sheet accounts only you should be able to apply the same approach; that is, filter for the currency and then add a second filter criteria where you filter for the main account type 'balance sheet'.
Would be great if you could test this and let us know if this resolves your issue.

It will most probably work.
At the same time, I want to check only how much Balance sheets accounts (Assets, Liabilities, and Equities) in foreign currencies we had at the end of 2019.
Do you have any good idea to sort them out?

Hello NMM,
Do you want to filter foreign currency transactions posted on whatever account?
This is something that you can achieve with a couple of reports or in inquiry forms.
Simply try to filter all records that are not in JPY by applying a !JPY filter in the currency field.
Does not that already do the job?
