Hello abidi
It seems that you have a lot of open questions in regards to costing and production postings.
Not sure if you are aware of the dynamics learning portal and Microsoft learn where you can watch some videos on those topics. I believe it might help getting some of your questions answered.

Hi Abidi,
The reason why you can't put more than 1 in quantity field is because you have added a specific resource. i.e. Requirement Type = "Resource".
If you change the requirement type = "Resource Group" or something else, the you will be able to change the quantity.

You specified machine1 as the required resource. That seems to be the reason why it can't be changed.
